Art Group

Everyone is welcome, whatever their level of experience. We meet on Wednesday afternoons, including during school holidays, at 1.30–4.00 p.m. in either the main church or the Octagon. Each week we have a theme, suggested by members, and we have an outside tutor about twice per term. Members use any medium of their choice. Most use water colour but pastels, pencils and pen are also popular. We exhibit paintings at the Village Fete and hold occasional shows of our own. Usually 12–14 people are present each week, and we try to share our experience and help less experienced members.
Subs are £12 per term, including tea and cake. This covers the cost of tutors. We give £150 each year to church funds.
